Welcome to Stem Solvers, a tutoring service provided by Groupe Progentibus Inc, a corporation registered in Quebec, Canada. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Company Information
Stem Solvers operates under Groupe Progentibus Inc., a corporation legally registered in Quebec. Our services include one-on-one, group, online, and in-person tutoring for STEM subjects across all grade levels from high school to university.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to individuals of all ages. However, if you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must consent to your use of our services. By providing us with your phone and email information, you confirm that you are either 18 years of age or have obtained the necessary consent from a parent or guardian.
3. Services Provided
Stem Solvers offers tutoring services in the following formats:

We cater to students at the high school and university levels, focusing on STEM subjects. Service availability is dependent on the availability of our tutors.
4. Pricing and Payment

Pricing Structure: Our tutoring services are priced on an hourly basis.

Payment Methods: We accept payments through Stripe, which supports various payment methods, including credit cards and other options accepted by Stripe.

Payment Schedule: Payments must be made in full before each session at the time of booking.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel a session, you must do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will incur a $25 administrative fee. Despite this fee, you will still be entitled to a free rescheduled session.

Refund Policy: We do not offer full refunds. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, a free reschedule is the best option we can provide.
6. User Responsibilities

Conduct: Users are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during all interactions with our tutors. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services.

Technical Requirements: For online tutoring sessions, users must ensure they have a stable internet connection and the necessary software (e.g., Zoom) to participate in the session. Stem Solvers is not responsible for technical difficulties that arise due to user equipment or internet issues.

Intellectual Property: All materials and content provided during tutoring sessions are the intellectual property of Stem Solvers or the individual tutor. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for any purpose other than personal educational use.
7. Tutor Responsibilities

Qualifications: All of our tutors have completed the courses they teach or have studied similar curricula and excelled in them. Tutors undergo a live demo session to ensure they meet our high standards.

Availability: Tutor availability is subject to their individual schedules. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred times, but availability is not guaranteed.

Substitution Policy: If your assigned tutor is unavailable, we will offer a substitute tutor of equal qualification. If a suitable substitute cannot be found, we will reschedule your session at no additional cost.
8. Limitations of Liability
Stem Solvers and Groupe Progentibus Inc. make no guarantees regarding the academic outcomes of tutoring sessions. We are not responsible for:

Any failure to achieve desired academic results.

Technical issues that disrupt online sessions, including but not limited to internet connectivity problems.

Any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the use of our services, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Disclaimers
Stem Solvers provides tutoring services on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee that our services will meet your specific needs or expectations. While we strive to provide the highest quality of service, results may vary depending on the student's individual effort and participation.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. If you wish to terminate your use of our services, please contact us directly. Stem Solvers reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to services without notice if a user violates these Terms and Conditions or engages in inappropriate behavior.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our services will be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
